HELP!!...Sofitel vs. Michelangelo

Hi Everyone!

My husband and I will be travelling to New York for the first time in August for our 1st year anniversary...We narrowed down where we%26#39;ll be staying for the 4 days that we%26#39;re there...both the Sofitel %26amp; Michelangelo are located in Midtown %26amp; that%26#39;s where we want to be....does anyone have any comments or experiences regarding either hotel that would help make our final decision??

In this instance, since you are comparing two nice hotels with each other, why don%26#39;t you look at the pictures listed in the review section of this Web Site. Sofitel is modern and the Michelangelo more Italian in style.

I havent been in the NY Sofitel, but the one in Chicago is my favorite hotel in the country! You do not want to get out of the bed! (I imagine they have the same beds in NYC).

And, if you join their affinity club prior to (or maybe at) check-in they%26#39;ll probably upgrade you. I always get a lake view without asking in Chicago.
