My husband and I and our 3 kids (17, 19 and 28) are coming to NY at the end of the year for 11 days. We are looking at a number of accommodation options and would appreciate some feedback. We have tentatively booked a hotel on the Upper Westside (Hotel Belleclaire) for the first few nights and are then considering moving to an apartment either just south of Central Park or in Chelsea (West 20th bewtwwen 9th and 10th Avenues). What do you think?
new york accommodation
The Belleclaire is a good budget hotel on the upper westside, a popular neighborhood for families. I wonder why you%26#39;re considering moving/splitting the trip and having to pack? Is it a budget issue or are you trying to stay in 2 different areas? How big are the apts. you%26#39;re considering? ';Just south of Central Park'; is not a good enough description of a location. It%26#39;s also important to know how you%26#39;re planning on renting the apts. There are some unscrupulous rental agents you should not use. Where did you find the apts?
I guess I%26#39;m saying what sort of feedback do you want?
