Hi, just found out that we have been approved for a greeter in July. I would love to hear about other experiences with BAG%26#39;s.

No, just kidding, I am a greeter, and have used a greeter service in Chicago, which is based on the NY program, and it is great.

The best bargain in NYC, you will LOVE IT, I can assure you of that.

So, did you request a specific area???

I did not request a special area just left it up to the greeter, we are really very open and would love to see an area that we wouldn%26#39;t choose on our own.

i have just sent off an e-mail for a B.A.G for my august visit- just hoping that i will hopefully get a greeter :o).. i too decided on the greeters choice of ny area- i want to see mostly all of the boroughs i can in my visit and no better way than thru the big apple greeters

I had a greeter a couple of years ago, on my first trip to New York. He was excellent - because I work in the financial industry I wanted to see the financial district and my greeter was an ex-banker, who was able to give quite an insight into the area. He was also from Brooklyn, so took us over Brooklyn Bridge to the Promenade where we had our first view of the Statue of Liberty.

Our greeter also gave us a one day metro ticket and a map of the subway. All this for ... nothing!!
