Hi Daisygee, is this a B%26amp;B as we know it with breakfast served?

The rooms on web site look like small studios.

We have been offered one on 4th floor. Do you know if that is the %26#39;small%26#39; one you refer to in a previous post? Also would appreciate info on bed size and quality please and bathrooms/showers.

We really would prefer not to stay in a hotel this visit and are having trouble finding alternative accommodation for New Year period.

The fridges are stocked with breakfast items..it is really a self catering apartment. I think the rooms on the 4th floor are a studio type with bed and living area all in one room. Although I haven%26#39;t seen those rooms, the bed looks the same size in the pictures as the bed in the aparment we had ( a double). The bathroom was very clean, and the shower was good.

I%26#39;m going there from the 28th Dec over New Year...might see you there!

DG i have read good reviews on this B%26amp;B. I have just checked out there website the apartments look fab,I fly out to NY on Tuesday for a week. I have the UWS on my must do list.You %26amp; Bettina have got me hooked on the UWS and i am so looking forward to exploring....My next visit to NY will be in May i will cetainly think about booking the B%26amp;B.I will take a look next week. Hopefully the rain will have stopped.

NETS..have a great time . The street that Jack%26#39;s is on is lovely, great for the subway..and Zabars!

DG I will be staying at the Hilton this trip. But i will sure think about booking for next May.

Are you saying they are regular doubles?

And forgot to ask this last time what cross street is it nearest?

It just seemed like a normal sized bed to me...ours is a double at home and it seemed to be the same. It%26#39;s on W81st between Amsterdam and Columbus.

Nets...never been in the winter before so the short daylight hours will be unusual for my sightseeing, but all of us are really looking forward to it.

DG you will have a smashing time.NYC is special anytime of year,However at christmas it is pure magic. Lucky you.

Thanks for all the good reviews. Only one correction, The main beds in all of the apartments are queen size not doubles. Some of the apts. have secondary doubles or twins.
