I am going to new york 20/24 October and want to take my two grandsons 13 and 11 to a show. Any idea on what would be suitable/good.
I would like to take them to a football game but looks impossible - any ideas.

Sorry I can%26#39;t help but hope replying to your post will give a New Yorker a chance to help!

Unless your grandchildren have shown an interest in seeing shows back home, I am not sure that it is necessarily a good idea to take them to one in the US. Not to mention Broadway shows even at 1/2 price are $60/ticket.
Why do you say football is impossible? The Jets are playing on Sunday, 10/22 at Giants Stadium -- did you check about ticket availibility already?
Green white, from reading the website all seats are sold to season ticket holders and the people on a list waiting to get a season ticket have first chance of a ticket to a game. I was checking to see if that was right. If you think I can get tickets I will try harder!

There are certainly tickets available although they%26#39;re very pricey. Have a look here

Taking the boys to a show is a great idea. Some of the off Broadway shows (a bit cheaper) are actually more popular with boys. Blue Man Group, Stomp and Drumstruck are all good ones and can often be gotten on discount. Nearer to your trip look on broadwaybox.com for discount codes on these.
If you want to go to a Broadway show, Lion King, Wicked and Hairspray are all good.
