Last minute tickets to Yankee stadium

I%26#39;m in NY right now -- have had a great trip so far.

It seems that my wife and daughter want to do a bunch of shopping tonight (Friday, 6/23), leaving my teenage son and I stranded for a few hours.

We%26#39;d love to make our way out to the Yankee Stadium for the game but don%26#39;t have tickets. Any inside info on how to procure last minute tickets for what appears to be a sold out game?

There will be scalpers selling tickets outside the stadium. Be very careful if you decide to buy from a scalper - the ticket could be a counterfeit .

Will we be able to walk up to the box office on Friday July 28th for a game against Tampa and still get tickets for 12 guys? We%26#39;ll be in NYC for a bachelor party and we%26#39;d like to see a game. We%26#39;d like to sit in the upper deck for $20. Of course we do not want to be in the bleachers a) because were Red Sox fans and b) because drinking is not allowed there. We don%26#39;t want to buy the tickets in advance just in case the weather is crap then too. What do you think...will we be able to get tickets for a Friday night game versus Tampa in late July?

You should be able to get tickets, though maybe not 12 all together.

I really don%26#39;t know if you%26#39;ll be very close to each other. Tampa is not a huge draw. You%26#39;ll be fine; just avoid being obnoxious. (I know it will be hard :) )
