Anyone have a few suggestions on a nice sit down lunch or dinner in Chinatown, not too pricey?

If you go to Chinatown by Canal and Broadway/ Lafaette, just head either way north or south and go into any of the restaurants with chinese patrons. sounds silly, but chinese people know where the best chinese food is!

It%26#39;s tough to find anywhere in Chinatown that%26#39;s ';too pricey';....the low prices are one of the area%26#39;s allures.

My favorites:

- Doyers Vietnamese - On Doyers street, right at the crook of the street, and downstairs. Great food.

- New Green Bo - On Bayard - zero decor, but great soup dumplings

- Yeah Shanghai - On Bayard, across the street from New Green Bo, next door to the Chinatown Ice Cream Company - very nice decor (for Chinatown) great food, friendly service

Grew up in Man. Weekly Sunday dinners with family at Chinatown. Mott street has wonderful resturants. Stroll by and gaze into the windows. When you see the locals, that%26#39;s where to eat. Our family%26#39;s preference was 16 Mott.

It would be hard to find too pricey in Chinatown - Mott Street is full of lots of wonderful places to eat. Enjoy! Ta. MMM!
