Flushing Meadow Park was empty today!

Wow, were we the only two people left in Queens? What a ghost town!

We went biking around Flushing Meadow today and picked up U.S. Open tix at the box office.

I suppose the combo of World Cup games, the Mets-Yankees match-up (yay Mets!!) , Wimbledon, no rain, and July 4 holiday weekend trips kept everyone busy.

Only the cricket players were out.

Flushing Meadow Park was empty today!

manhattan was equally deserted! My heart goes out to England, i cried with them today.

Flushing Meadow Park was empty today!

I was in Central Park today, there were people, but it wasn%26#39;t packed, but The Boathouse was hopping, I can tell you that much! Fifth Avenue wasn%26#39;t too bad, either, for a Saturday anyway. It was a beautiful day.

I have to tell you I went to Conservatory Gardens and walked all the way back to 42nd Street, both in the park %26amp; in the streets, and I was so proud of how the city looked today, very clean, the parked looked gorgeous, Museum Mile is just incredible, The Met looked great although there is still some construction going on, I fell in love with my city all over again. Walked thru Grand Central Terminal, so magnificent, The Chrysler Building, well, what can you say about that building, I felt like a tourist in my own town, it was great. I sometimes forget all our city has to offer, we offer advice to others but don%26#39;t always take it for ourselves!

Stopping to smell the roses, indeed!!!!

NYCgirl--you are so right. Sometimes we forget to enjoy what we have in NYC.

boo-hoo we lost :( however i suppose it serves out egos right when we always think we are going to win!
