Yankee Clipper Question

Hi, it%26#39;s our first time to New York and are looking forward to going to the Yankees Game on Friday July 14th. We want to take the Yankee Clipper that leaves Pier 11 at 5:30. How long will it take to get to the Stadium? Thanks

Yankee Clipper Question

The schedule says it leaves Pier 11 at 5:35, and gets to East 34th Street at 5:55. Based on that I would say 45 to 60 minutes after it leaves 34th Street.

Yankee Clipper Question

Out of curiousity, what difference does it make? It will get you there in time to see the game.

Because as I said, it is our first time to New York. My husband is a huge Yankees fan and we were wondering how much time we would have to wander around the stadium. Thanks

Thank you Green White Blue, I%26#39;m sure we will enjoy the ride. We may decide to take the subway back, I hear from the posts that Stan%26#39;s bar is great. Is it worth the crowds after the game or should we head on back? Thanks again.

When I went we got there, walked across a car park, then a bridge.....waited in line and just had time to find my seat. There%26#39;s no time to spare.

As for coming back, for me it was a real highlight sailing down the river seeing the skyline lit up.

Since your husband is a huge Yankees fan, he will feel right at home at Stans Sports Bar! This is a must visit in my opinion. Try to get there before or after the game if possible.

Yes it is very crowded and the jukebox is loud but service is fast and beers are ice cold. Everyone there will be your friend! Words cannot describe the atmosphere enough justice.

Below is a thread about dining around Yankee Stadium. My personal opinion is I hate the food inside the stadium and the prices are obscene. But still, I always get a hot dog and usually an ice cream in a mini helmet...and I don%26#39;t know why.

Some folks on the thread recommend going to Arthur Avenue to get food and while the food will be amazing, Arthur Avenue is not nearby at all and I would rule that out.

There is a lot of support on the following thread for a place called The Feeding Tree...I%26#39;ve never been but it sounds quite good and affordable.
