I am coming to NY for the first time at the end of August

for four days as the first part of my honeymoon. We are staying at Renaissance Hotel - anyone know anything about this hotel? We have booked to see Chicago whilst there - what else can you recommend we see while there!

You could also watch Mamma Mia... Visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum at Times Square... Walk along the 5th avenue designer stores going up to Central Park...

I would recommend the Circle Line tour - great view of Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline. Also, I recommend either going to the top of the Empire State Building, or the Top of the Rock (Rockefeller Center) for the view - if you go, try to get there early as lines form pretty early in the day, especially in the summer. You can purchase your tickets online ahead of time to save you waiting in line when you get there. Try to check out Central Park if you can, it%26#39;s a beautiful place with so much to see - so many different areas, etc..the Tavern on the Green restaurant is very pretty, even if you just go for a drink! St. Patrick%26#39;s Cathedral/Rockefeller Center on 5th Ave is a must as well...
