How far is LaGuardia airport to Manahtten

Hey,

I%26#39;m flying down from Chicago to NYC after two weeks of work in Chicago. The flight is much cheaper to LaGuardia than JFK (flight to JFK 拢200, to LGA 拢48.) But how much will a cab be from LGA is it far from Manhatten, I have only flown into JFK before, is it further out than that?

It%26#39;s actually closer to Manhattan than JFK. There%26#39;s no fixed price for a taxi from there, but if I remember correctly we paid about $30. For the difference in price, I%26#39;d definitely choose LGA

la guardia%26#39;s closer than jfk to manhattan. on a good day without any serious traffic, it can take about 20 minutes from la guardia to central manhattan, and it%26#39;ll range anywhere from $26 to $30 including tolls and tip depending on the route.

JFK to midtown - about 20 miles

LGA to midtown - about 12 miles

Taxi JFK to midtown - rate fixed at $45. With tip and toll $55 to $60

Taxi LGA to midtown - you pay meter rate. Cost will be around $30 with tip and toll included.

Under optimum traffic conditions JFK to midtown 35 to 40 minutes. LGA to midtown 20 to 25 minutes
