Hi, We are going on our first cruise in November this year from Cape Liberty Cruise Port, New Jersey . We are flying into JFK. Does anyone know the best way to get to the port and approx cost. We are travelling direct to the port from the airport. Thanks
Cape Liberty Cruise Port,
If you haven%26#39;t already purchased plane tickets, you%26#39;d be much better flying into Newark airport. Here%26#39;s a page I found

If you can%26#39;t change, the simplest would be to hire a car service to pick you up at JFK and take you there. Carmel and Tel Aviv are the 2 car services used most often. Not fancy but usually dependable.

I don%26#39;t suggest taking a taxi as that page suggests, since NY cabs will charge a lot to take you to NJ.
Cape Liberty Cruise Port,
While they may want to use the fancy sounding ';Cape Liberty Cruise Port';, in case anyone asks you ';Where is THAT?'; the real answer is ';it%26#39;s in Bayonne.'; You may find this useful when dealing with car service companies.
Since ';Bayonne, NJ'; is hardly synonymous with elegance, I can understand the cruise company%26#39;s subterfuge.
