Do you have any suggestions for things to do with a teenage daughter after hours. Are there any Jazz places or such that she can experience she is 14 years old.
What to do late night with teenage daughter
After hours? What time do you mean? I think she would be allowed into any place with you. Cafe Wha is a popular place for families but not nec. jazz.
Bigapplejazz.com has a list of most of the jazz clubs in NYC. Dizzy%26#39;s Coca Cola in the Time Warner building might be fun on a Mon. They have student players and the cover charge is less. There%26#39;s a nice view from there too.

between 8pm and say 12-1 am. It doesn%26#39;t have to be jazz, just want it to be a trip to remember sort of like she is grown up but with supervision.
Thanks in advance.
How about a comedy show?
Upright Citizens Brigade is cheap improv with often juvenile sense of humor. I think the early shows are cleaner.

...Or a caberet show? A very NYC thing to do, but not that sure she%26#39;d like it. What are her tastes? Does she like show tunes?

Have you considered a Broadway show, such as Wicked, or an Off-B%26#39;way show such as Altar Boyz, Stomp or Drumstruck?
Another idea is simply to walk around Greenwich Village. Have a hot chocolate at Cafe Reggio on Bleecker Street and MacDougal. Sit outside and people-watch.
Don%26#39;t forget to spend an evening walking up and down Times Square. My daughter is the same age and she loved it there at night. The lights are awesome, and there are stores open late she%26#39;d like...MTV, Sephora, Toys ';R Us...(yes, she%26#39;ll like it!), and the many little souvenier shops where she can find inexpensive gifts for her friends back home. You can stop into Roxy%26#39;s for cheesecake, or the Marriott Marquis has a bar with windows onverlooking Times Square you could go to and have a drink and appetizer while gazing at the lights.
One option might be participatory theater--the Awesome 80s Prom, or Tony and Tina%26#39;s wedding.
