Radio City Christmas Spectacular tickets- buy now or wait?

I have noticed the Rockettes Spectacular tickets go on sale this week and wondered if I should buy now for our Dec trip or wait. Do they sell out quickly? Do deals turn up if you wait?

Personally, I would buy them now so at least you have them and don%26#39;t run the risk of the show time you wanted to see, selling out. We saw the show a couple of years back (GREAT show!) and we were lucky to get decent tickets as availability was pretty limited as we booked a few months/six weeks or thereabouts prior to going in December.

If you know what day you want them buy them now. The prices don%26#39;t change as you get closer to Christmas but shows/good seats sell out. There are usually some less expensive days but those are not around Christmas.

We are going to get our tickets soon, could anyone advise if the best area to view is near the front centre of the Orchestra or front centre of the first floor mezzannine. Thanks

I%26#39;d go with orchestra. The theater is enormous!

I would buy now because that would insure your getting the day and time convenient to you.

If there are young children in your group I would go for mezzanine tickets because the sight line will be better for children. In the orchestra they might not be able to see over the person in the row in front.

You%26#39;ve got the same problem in the mezzanine, unless you%26#39;re in the first row.

So what about all the deals that come out in September that everyone keeps talking about? I%26#39;m going to be in NYC 12/16-12/19 and am flexible on dates and times. Is it safe for me to wait, or should I get my tickets now?

Thanks for your help, I too am interested in the September deals I%26#39;ve heard about but wondered if these deals are for not so great seats etc? We have no kids just my boyfriend and I, we are totally flexible on days and times etc too.

i have booked our tickets already for this show for december. we booked through ticketmaster.com using the code BSANTA.

booking it now gives you more choice on days and times to suit.
