We%26#39;ll be staying at the Marriott Financial Center lower downtown. What%26#39;s a good place to have breakfast?

I assume having it in the hotel will be very $$$$$!!!

Here is a secret to get a free breakfast. The Embassy Suites offers a free breakfast buffet for its guests. It is in the restaurant on the mezzanine level. They never ask for your room key! The buffet is also fantastic - eggs any way you want, pancakes, hot food, fruit, jices, coffees etc.

They also have a free bar beteween 5pm and7pm (no kidding!).

If it is near the World Financial Center, We found a nice bakery there called ';Financier';. We were there in May and found it amazing (and this is coming from a French !!). Not sure if they are open for breakfast, but if they are, do not miss it !
