Music stores in NYC

Hi. I am visiting NYC shortly and was wondering where I can find some good independent music stores (CDs and records, new or used). On my last visit I found a few good indie stores in the area of St. Marks Place and was hoping there might be another area with a few good stores.

There are a couple of stores on Carmine Street between Varick %26amp; Bleecker Street in the Village.
