You should also know that there are other sources -- on the web -- for discount tickets including TDF.org (which runs TKTS) and nytix.com (I%26#39;ve used them). also check nytheatre.com for general info %26amp; discounts, esp about off-broadway

FYI!

Discount tickets on tdf.org are not available to the general public, you have to apply %26amp; meet certain criteria to become a ';member';.

Yep, you have to join www.tdf.org

There are membership requirements and a $25/yearly fee.

That nytix.com website is misleading.

They%26#39;re touting their $4 guide to learn about getting the partial view tickets for Wicked. That info is FREEly available at www.wickedthemusical.com/guest-services.htm

And there is no secret. You buy them on Ticketmaster.com just like other tickets.

The remarks about TDF are correct, but I would point out that the eligibiilty requirements are quite lax -- teachers, clergy, union members, military, arts professions, civil service %26amp; students -- or retired members of several of the above. Also, TDF is unquestionably the most legitimate of all the discounters.

Re NYTIX, I guess you%26#39;re right about Wicked, but they have many other offerings. I just saw Bridge %26amp; Tunnel, excellent seats, Saturday night, 30% off through NYTIX. They also offer $10 parking vouchers -- which I haven%26#39;t used

also check broadwaybox.com, btw
