Manhattan weather - rain rain rain?

I have been checking the weather page, ';Chances of Rain'; / ';Chances of Thunderstorm'; are the only forecast description for the remaining of the week in Manhattan...

I bet I have to bring my umbrella to NYC this weekend and expect my new white running shoes to turn grey from stepping in the puddles......

Don%26#39;t worry, even a forecast of rain won%26#39;t spoil your vacation. Usually it is just showers and it will be warm too. Bring your umbrella yes, but most of the time you will be carrying it around folded.

Hopefully by the weekend, this weather will clear up. I am tired of it.

It%26#39;s been dreary since Saturday. Everything from downpours to rain to light sprinkles to dark grey skies. It is extremely muggy.

I%26#39;m growing moss on my north side.

But don%26#39;t let the weather alter your plans. The predictions are frequently wrong. Last night%26#39;s ';Broadway Under the Stars'; concert in Central Park was really ';Broadway Under the Clouds,'; but not a drop of rain fell and it was a fantastic event.

The ten day forecast is not bad except for tomorrow (see link). Also the rain has not been as bad in Manhattan as it has been to the north and west.

Anyway, while rain has been forecast for almost every day I%26#39;d say it only rains about 5-10% of the time.

I hope I will experience good weather this weekend, or else it seems no point to take the watertaxi to brooklyn and walk back on the bridge.. I didn%26#39;t do it last time I came because of weather, hope I can really do it this time! =)
