You were a big help in September when we went to NYC finding pastries. BTW, we stayed at the Casablanca and Loved it. I am taking my daughter and her best friend to Broadway for for the first visit. Was thinking about Dirty RS, and wanted input as to whether it is appropriate for 14 year old girls? If not, what are some suggestions. I love NYC and just know these two will love it, also! Suggestions for informal, casual lunch. And one last thing, is the Top of the Rock far from the theatre district? We are just there for the day. Thanks!

14 year olds - better off with Hairspray.
TOTR is fairly close to the theatre district, and worth it!!
Have a great time!

Starting backwards, Top of the Rock is not too far from the theaters--closer to some theaters than others.
While I loved DRS, not sure it would be appropriate for 14 yr olds. It%26#39;s about scam artists in the South of France trying to woo wealthy women.
If you%26#39;re coming after Sept 18, A Chorus Line will be in previews with an Oct. opening. This is a classic musical from the 70s. While some might say this also might not be ideal for 14 yr olds, I think it%26#39;s a great show with wonderful music. Hairspray is often recommended for teens. The Wedding Singer might be fun.
For a casualy lunch, how about John%26#39;s pizzeria (in a converted church)? If they like Japanese, Kodama is a good neighborhood place.
Thanks, we are going to a matinee on July 26th. I will check out the restaurants! They love pizza and japanese. Hairspray was my original choice. I%26#39;ll have to see if it has a Wed/matinee. Have to find out more about this TOTR.
There definately is a Wed matinee of Hairspray.

Hairspray is often available on discount. Keep checking broadwaybox.com Current discounts are only thru July. Hairspray always has matinees.
