My family is going up to Lake George next week, but i am not sure if i want to join them yet. I was wondering if there is any nightlife for teens.. i just turned 18 but i might bring a friend who is 17. What is there to do for older teens?
teen nightlife in lake gerogeIF you come without the 17 year old....I have one word for you: DJ%26#39;S!!!!!! The place to go in Lake George as far as I%26#39;m concerned. There is a huge nightlife and daylife in Lake George for teens, you will be far from bored honey I promise. DJ%26#39;S has 3 bars, a grill for food, waitresses that come around and serve you, awesome shots that look like a science experiment, a DJ that comes up from the city, and local radio stations visit to join in on the fun too. They have a tv so you can watch the people on the dancefloor too which is great fun. If you get hot they have great outdoor deck seating, where usually they are so plastered out there they call out to the hotties walking buy to come up and buy them a drink lol. Christie%26#39;s is on the lake, Neptune%26#39;s is too. I%26#39;m not sure what%26#39;s 21 and over only and what%26#39;s 18 and up, Im 28 it%26#39;s been a little while since I had to worry about that. Last I knew Neptune%26#39;s was 18 and over, with 2 floors, careful I got lost once in there with all the different stairs, ok so I had drank a little much but still it%26#39;s big! They are right on the water so you can watch the people on the boardwalk, watch the boats, watch the fireworks every thursday night, or just get fresh air. They have dj%26#39;s and/or live talent. Several bars and great food too. Christie%26#39;s is on the lake, usually just live bands, seating under an awning so you get a great breeze, dancing and pool under the roof, be ready to stand in line at the 2 stall women%26#39;s bathroom..ugh! If you can drive your own car, go to Glens Falls to Tilley%26#39;s, follow route 9 south probably 10 miles it%26#39;s on your left you can%26#39;t miss it, just past the library on 9. It%26#39;s 18 and up, fun atmosphere good music, the dj loves requests and actually will play them without making you wait 2 hours. The only issue might be 21 and over clubs only but ask the local kids at the beach they%26#39;ll be happy to tell you where they go. There are alot of things going on at the beach, in the park, you%26#39;ll probably be so busy with the beach crowd you won%26#39;t care about the nightclubs anyway. If you bring your 17year old friend you won%26#39;t get into any clubs, but you can still go to John Barleycorns, they have great food and fun atmosphere, you%26#39;ll find the irish hanging out there all hours. We have alot of local teens that just hang out at the Lake, and visiting ones too, we have several arcade places, mini golf, places to get your hair braided/wrapped, funny pictures in weird clothes etc. If you get bored here then you must be really hard to please lol. Can%26#39;t say I didn%26#39;t try! Have fun, stay safe..no drinking!

ID%26#39;S are a must, bouncers sit at the door checking ids with a machine that scans it to be sure its real. Shepards park is right on Canada Street, alot of people hang out there, its free. The other is on Beach rd, of course lol, it%26#39;s a pay beach, though last I knew it was only a few dollars. They have better bathrooms, machines, volleyball nets etc. Both have lifeguards.
