We are staying in new york october 12- 16. we are a group of 6 adults and are looking to book 2 suites. going on tripadvisor reviews we are thinking of booking the best western hospitality house, rated no. 11. has anyone heard negative feedback on this hotel?
also what would be the cheapest way for the 6 of us to get from jfk? 2 taxis?

Two taxis are not the cheapest way but I would recommend it considering the long flight and the luggage you will have. Each taxi will cost $45 fixed fare to anywhere in Manhattan, plus $4.50 toll plus tip.

BW Hospitality has some 2 bedroom suites but they don%26#39;t all have 2 bathrooms. I guess it depends on how you split the group-- 3/3 or 4/2. The Salisbury is another good budget hotel with suites. They have some 2 bedroom/2 bath suites that must be reserved by phone.

The cheapest way for the 6 of you to get to Manhattan would be AirTRain/subway for $7/person, but it%26#39;s not very easy to navigate with luggage. Also depends on where you%26#39;re staying as to what transport is best. At the BW Hospitality, you could take the train option and connect to the E subway and get out at Lexington %26amp; 53 st. The hotel is close.

The only negative review of the BW Hospitality House is the very last one, posted by a French woman last month who found it difficult to sleep because of outside noise, largely due to (I think, I last had a French class 30+ years ago!) the fact that her suite was by the service entrance to another hotel %26amp; its garbage dumpsters. She also thought the houskeeping %26amp; condition of the furnishings left something to be desired. I don%26#39;t think this one review should prompt you to reconsider the wisdom of your choice :-)
